Discord Activities
Activities are games built into Discord. Start one from a voice channel and everyone in the call can join without leaving the app. The list changes over time and includes card, word and party games. CHECK · current Activities on publish day.
Good for: quick games with whoever is in the call.
Browser games over voice
Any browser game works on Discord: one person opens a room, posts the code or link in the channel, and everyone plays in a browser while talking.
| Game | What it is | Players |
|---|---|---|
| NoHonor | Cluedo-style heist deduction | 3–6 |
| Colonist | Catan-style building and trading (also available as a Discord Activity) | 2–8 |
| skribbl.io | Draw and guess | 2–12 |
| Codenames (official online version) | Team word deduction | 4+ |
CHECK · re-verify player counts.
Chat bots
Some bots run trivia, word games or role-playing in a text channel. They're good for asynchronous fun between game nights.
Setting up a NoHonor night on Discord
- Create a voice channel and a text channel called #nohonor.
- The host presses Play now, then With friends, and pastes the room code in #nohonor.
- Everyone joins from their browser (with a free account) while staying in voice.
- Use a bot for any empty seat, and turn the timer on so turns move.
- After the game, post the end screen and argue about who should have accused first.
Questions
Is NoHonor a Discord Activity? Not yet. It runs in a browser alongside Discord. CHECK · update if an Activity ships.
Can I stream it in the channel? Yes, but don't show your hand while friends are playing.
