By meeting length
| Time | Try | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| 5 minutes | A one-question icebreaker or a single round of skribbl.io | Low effort, gets cameras on |
| 15 minutes | Codenames in two teams | Talk, laugh, light competition |
| 30 minutes | NoHonor in tables of four to six | Everyone plays every turn; a clear winner |
| An hour | Several NoHonor tables, then a final between winners | A mini tournament |
The mystery pick: NoHonor
A Cluedo-style heist game: question your colleagues until someone can name who took the loot, how they cracked the safe and where it's stashed. It's free in a browser, takes about 15–25 minutes with four players, and the case log means nobody can claim they "forgot" what they saw.
For bigger teams: one private room per five or six people, each with its own code. Bots fill gaps.
Running it in a meeting
- Send the game link a day early and ask people to create a free account.
- Split people into tables in the calendar invite.
- Use breakout rooms for voice, one per table.
- Keep the turn timer on 45 seconds.
- End with two minutes of "who suspected whom".
Questions
Is NoHonor appropriate for work? It's a theft story with no violence or gore, and there's no typed chat with strangers in private rooms.
Does it need installation? No. It runs in a browser on a work laptop or phone.
